We started running events in Baku in 2023 — meetups, a music night, a small conference. Every time we used a ticketing platform, 10–15% of our revenue disappeared in commission.
The software wasn't doing more work because we sold more tickets. So why was the price tied to volume?
We sketched out a different model — flat fee per event, scaled only by capacity — and built it ourselves. Six months and a hundred organizers later, we're glad we did.
