Is the fee charged per event or per month?+
Per event. You pay the flat tier fee once when you open ticket sales for an event. There is no monthly subscription — no recurring charges unless you actively run events.
What happens if I sell more tickets than my tier's limit?+
You'll be prompted to auto-upgrade to the next tier, and you only pay the difference. For example, moving from Small ($29) to Medium ($79) costs an additional $50 — not a full $79.
Do you charge any commission on ticket sales?+
No. All tiers are 0% commission. You pay the flat tier fee once per event and keep 100% of your ticket revenue — same feature set on every plan, price only scales with capacity.
Are payment processor fees included?+
No. Stripe charges 2.9% + $0.30 per successful transaction and pays out directly to your bank. This is industry-standard and not paid to eticksystem.
Can I run free events?+
Yes, and the Free tier covers you up to 50 attendees. For larger free events, you only pay the flat tier fee — there is no commission on $0 tickets.
Do I pay upfront or after the event?+
Upfront — when you publish the event and open ticket sales. This is a one-time charge per event.
Can I cancel and get a refund?+
If you cancel an event before any ticket is sold, we refund the tier fee fully. After first sale, tier fees are non-refundable (we've already provided the platform service).
Are there setup fees or contracts?+
